The last place you look

Last night, Thursday, I was putting the crockpot away. I know, I know, I used it Tuesday. It got washed on Wednesday. I was putting it away last night, because I cook on Thursday. Remember on Tuesday I was looking all over the kitchen, crying & cursing because I couldn't find the glass lid? I looked EVERYWHERE, even in the pan cupboard. I finally grabbed a lid from one of the Dutch ovens & ran. Last night, when I opened the microwave stand cupboard where the crockpot has an APT (a place there), there was the glass lid. Who would have thought to look there? Not I for certain. I even forgot the crockpot had a place to reside. It has spent most of it's life on the cupboard.
