Today is Mother's 83rd birthday. Yup, she was born April 14, 1926. Interesting thing is, Larry found her birth certificate says April 15. Yet her parents always celebrated her birthday on April 14.
Lyola Holden Chase is coming today from New Hampshire. They have been friends since they were 6 & 7. Lyola is 11 months older than Mother. I've been trying to think how I can get Mother back to New Hampshire, but New Hampshire is coming to us.
Another work day, another DUP day. I've begun to dread DUP. I guess it doesn't help that I'm the secretary & I'm not doing a very good job of it. I spent hours last night typing up the minutes. I printed them out this morning & they are crappy. Don-Mike doesn't have a word processing application on his computer. I don't know if Don does or not, but Don uses his computer. I don't really like to kick him off of it. Besides, it is right inside the front door & it is cold. So, I used Notepad & every time the line word wrapped it double spaced. I'll take them to work & retype & reprint them after I'm finished with my work.
We have to cut our hours by 7 percent since they can't cut our pay. Yesterday I worked from about 9:30 to 6:15. Last week I worked until almost 9. I definitely cut my hours by 7 percent from last week, LOL. If it was 7 percent of 12 hours, that would have been 50.7 minutes. So, 7 percent of what? I don't even know how many hours Kelly schedules us. It might be a good idea to find out.

RaNae, please don't start dreading DUP on me.........I'm your new Company President starting in June and I really need familiar faces at the meetings. Just hang in there and be glad you're the camp secretary and not the Company PRESIDENT!!! How did I get roped into this???????? (I must learn to say "no".)
Aww, Carolyn, you'll be bugging me about reports next year then, sigh. Oh, I'm glad I'm not on the company board at all. I won't even consider president of our camp. At the next go-round, I'm going to say no to any of the offices or appointed stuff.
Forgot to ask if I offer condolences or congrats on your new office.
