Reverse SAD

In an earlier post I mentioned reverse SAD & wondered if there was such a thing, so I googled it. Yes, there is such a thing. I found an article called Self-help for Summer Depression & am sharing the link here.

I think it's the heat. I KNOW I have winter depression, but always equated it with dark. I hate the dark, I love light, not bright lights because they bring on headaches. Maybe it's the heat. Fall & spring are the best.

  • Talking to friends & loved ones.
  • A healthy balanced diet.
  • Getting exercise.
  • Hobbies & interests.
  • Keeping cool.
  • Good sleep hygiene.
This is just something new for me in the last couple of years.
