Day 30

I am grateful for a warm house, for central heating. I froze last night at work. Vicki brought a space heater in & I set it right up on the desk, then my feet froze. My boots have a hole in the top, but it seems to seep into my toes. Our house is very drafty, but at least we have heat.

I was complaining to Nick today that my fingers & hands hurt because of the cold, & it's hard to type. We saw a group of people from Preston at Wal-Mart & Jerry Moore reached out to shake my hand. Now, I remember how shaking hands in the winter hurts

Day 17

New furnace

I am thankful for electricity today. I can't have the internet if I don't have electricity. I can't have a furnace if I don't have electricity, or lights or any of the modern conveniences that we so take for granted.
