Today I parked on State Street, almost to Oneida, which is almost the center of town. I had planned to walk from U.S. Bank to the post office, through the block to the pharmacy, back to State Street & down to the Preston City office to pay the water bill. But, because of the time, I only walked to the post office, City Office & back to the bank where I parked the car, 20 minutes. The bank, post office & city office all close at 5 p.m.
I had stopped to talk to a friend & her husband just outside of Lewiston State Bank &, of course, it wasn't just a hi & bye.
