I worked this morning on the Farm & Ranch Edition. About 1 p.m., Don walked in. I looked up & almost the first thing I said was, "Do you still have a job?" Rod said his wife asks him that every night now since we had our hours cut. This is the 2nd day this week Don has had a "no-work."
Don & I had lunch together. That was nice. It doesn't happen often. I walked around Benson Park & down State Street. This time I just walked around the block, I didn't cut through any alleys or stores, Just stayed on the sidewalk. I did rest a couple of times today on the benches. I still had a stitch in my side when I got back to The Citizen.
I took the mail up to The Citizen & used one of the work tables in the old mail room to sort it. I took Mother & Don-Mikel's mail over to them & then worked for a while to sort through Mother's mail. I started at 3 & didn't finish until 7. I've still got mine & Don's mail to sort through. I gave Nick his mail & he gave me half of it back to shred. I also still have a ton of mail in the trunk of my car & I tried to get in Don-Mike's storage shed the other day & retrieve the mail that is sitting in boxes. I didn't have a key & it's been raining ever since.
I forgot to feed Mufasa until a quarter to 10 tonight. A full moon didn't help because it hid behind some storm clouds while I was out. Don-Mike & Nick came home from chasing sirens & Don-Mike turned the garage light out on me.
